A grand ceremony space within Raphael Court
The ceremony space was set within Raphael Court with guests arriving beforehand at the Exhibition Road entrance of the venue. They then made their way through the galleries, including Fashion gallery, to the deep blue lined walls of Raphael Court. The ceremony was set up with a long aisle leading to the grand gold altar. The aisle itself was lined with tall glass vases filled with flickering pillar candles and nestled among these, vases with single stem roses.
An elegant aisle leading to a double ceremony space
The bride entered with her father from the back of the room and made her way down the aisle to the front of the space for the first ceremony of the day.Lead by a local celebrant this was an emotional and heartfelt ceremony. This was then followed by a traditional Lebanese ceremony which had been set up beforehand. A beautiful ornate stage was laid with symbolic items and the couple sat before these as the second ceremony was performed.
Dinner is set in the Dome
Following the ceremonies, the guests enjoyed champagne and canapés before moving through to the Dome. The Dome was filled with tables in a mixture of styles – squares, ovals and long tables which looked fantastic within the space. The table settings were soft and feminine with a vintage rose hemstitch napkin laid on each setting and a gorgeous blush or plum water glass. The wicker, wooden frame chairs looked elegant and soft in the setting and the florals worked perfectly. Rose filled displays in a soft pink palette sat in the centre of each table and overflowed on the bar to the floor.
After dinner and speeches, the couple made their way to the dancefloor for a traditional cate cutting dance followed by their first dance and a DJ who played into the early hours to a very full dancefloor.
